We clearly tried hard to sign a better forward.

For what ever reason we didn't manage to sign Afobe or Haller. I don't blame the club for this, we are not an attractive option for players to come and play at this level.

As for Jerome, I thought apart from his bad miss last night he played excellent giving Cahill a real hard time. If Jerome was in form he would have scuffed the last 2 bad misses but he is unfortunately he is out of confidence. Its probably the right time to Start Bamford on Saturday.
