disagreed, what's the point?

"I have a foul in the 2nd minute for a foul on Costa .I thought the challenge was strong. Then in the third minute I gave a corner to Norwich as I thought it defelected off a Chelsea player"

Etc etc

A decision is made by a ref because of what he saw or didn't see at the time. What possible answer can they give about Costa being offside that would help us, other than "I thought he was in line when I looked. I was wrong".
