I worry that a Trump nomination means someone like Bloomberg running and splitting the Democrat vote.

Clinton should win regardless but there is a lot of dislike and even hatred over there for Hilary. Trump is very shrewd and is good at playing to his audience, so I don't think anything can be ruled out.

Trump is a massive own goal for the republicans. Had they picked anyone decent (or rather, if anyone decent had been available to be picked) I think they would beat Clinton. Someone like McCain would have romped home.
