I forget the exact circumstances, but I think it was fans of Gimnasia de la Plata who were beating one of the championship contenders 1-0 at home on the last day of the season.

As that would have made their hated rivals Estudiantes champions, the leaders of the fan groups went into the players changing room and demanded that they lose on threat of extreme nastiness.

I think they ended up losing.
