Our main export is services, which keep the economy afloat

More than half of these exports go to the EU. Leaving the trading bloc and hoping to maintain this balance of trade seems at best a reckless gamble, and at worst a total shot in the dark, bearing in mind that production of services is way easier to relocate than that of goods. The Brexit campaign seems convinced that sheer goodwil from the EU will ensure that we get a good deal on trade if we leave, but I think that couldn't be further from the truth. As an economic competitor why wouldn't they slap massive tariffs on imports from the UK?
