A target for Isis for a while as it is part of their end days prophesy so as soon as they attack it they have to fulfill the prophesy which essentially means defeating the masses armies (21 or 26 or suffern) at Dabiq after a defeat at Constantinople. Or suffern. And at the moment they are not anywhere near that strength. As soon as they start the end game of the prophesy and it doesn't complete quickly they will lose any semblance of legitimacy amongst their followers. They're already slowing down with naming imams cos they've only got one or two left until the Mahdi and it's not quite going as fast as they had hoped.
