That's the beauty of football I suppose, I want our team to be as good as possible you are happy for them to be what we currently are.
For every bad foreign investor there has been a good one and anyway investment does not solely have to be from a foreigner.
In terms of cleverly staving of serious financial hardship when in league one you can look at it both ways. Could it be that their poor decisions took us to league 1 in the first place?
In terms of the clubs you suggest, Southampton have the best Acadamy in the country after investing in it heavily, play great football and are upwardly mobile. As are Stoke (who by the way are owned by a Brit) they have recently been in Europe, fa cup finals etc so yes would love to be them rather than a yoyo club. Just look at some of the players they have compared with us.
All depends what outlook you have. I want us to strive to be as good as possible whether realistic or not, you are content with what we currently are and believe the risk is not worth the reward. Each to their own and who knows which is the correct thought process.
