Been doing it for years.

They introduced Pupil Premium funding (Lib Dem idea) for disadvantaged pupils but changed the way schools received their money. They cut elsewhere but just couldn't see it in budgets. No new money, but good publicity. Cynical. Still nice to see the DfE have just bought a house in Islington for ?33m that they are going to give to one of their acolytes to set up a free school.
