This is a very, very, VERY hard job in one of the world's toughest leagues... which is so attritional, it wears down the best managers in the world, never mind our one.
If the club takes a long term view and looks to rebuild, we should keep Alex. If we want to pull out all the stops and try desperately to stay up after spending what we did in January, we have to make a change immediately.
No time for pissing about now: the club has to make a decision either way and commit to it, for better or worse. But in such a tough job in such a tough league, I'm extremely sceptical that someone of Neil's inexperience can make a positive difference: especially given the kind of players we've brought in over recent months.
This is a familiar tale where Norwich are concerned. There are no sure things in terms of signings; it always takes time for players from overseas to bed into English football, because the game is so physical and fast-paced here. Spend plenty on various gambles: get worse, as we did last time we went down. It's very sad, I don't think anyone's to blame exactly - but take a look around the league. Who else is as inexperienced as our manager? Not many in the Prem have even only managed in Britain.
West Ham are better than us and fully deserved the draw. But through no fault of his own, they have a better manager than us too. And it shows. It's showing pretty much every week now.
