Is it time for 3 central defenders again?

I know he has only tried it once (or twice) but given our often shambolic defending maybe another throw of the dice.

So basic rules:
1. Howson must NOT play on the right.
2. Wes if playing has to be central
3. Mbok if playing needs wingers to cross to head
4. Tettey must play
5. Redmond needs Martin behind if playing
6. At set pieces ball must get past the first man.
7. Players must press the ball for 90 mins

The above will help get the crowd on side.( Minimise groans)

Starting 11 i.e. PLAN A :- pass to feet, keep ball

Rudd

Bennet Klose Bassong

Pinto ONeil Tettey Brady

Wes

Naismith Bamford

PLAN B:- Overlapping on the wings crosses to head.

Rudd

Pinto Bennet Klose Olsson

Jarvis ONeil Tettey Brady

Naismith MBok
