Interesting comments, I think a lot of this kind of Fantasy has always veered close to the edge in

terms of sexual misanthropy/misogyny and appeals to a certain element of society as a result. Not much of it is made into multi million pound TV series though and so is rarely considered outside of the usual fan base. Great concept and story line as you said.
