Look, as I said I'm a consultant from next week, so won't affect my directly, but that's not the point.

It's about all sorts of issues. And doctors cannot expect the general public to fully understand or care about all the issues. We have been poor at putting it across (BMA are pussies and also refused help from PR companies)

It's NOT about 7 day working, that can't possibly happen without massive structural change of the NHS and huge boost in funding. Even then it won't work, the only reason elective work gets done on a Monday is because we have the weekend to cle
