I think you're right that there were a greater number of poor teams

But from the perspective of some of the teams above us, this time round it's us that is one of those poor teams. If we were in the position of Watford for example, we might say that the league is stronger this time round, but I don't think we'd be saying that it was a massive difference.

We could and should be doing better than we are. Our squad is good enough to do better, even if that only equates to being 16th rather than 18th.
