Yeah, but even so it's a greater achievement than his prior to 2004-5.

And it's not really the point. You can't just show up at a club and publicly say "You're all crap". I could have just about forgiven him if he had kept us up - there was a single game where he could have TRIED to keep us up and he singularly failed to make any effort.

All I remember him doing is blasting a free-kick over the bar when there were several players in the box because he wanted his moment of personal glory - I thought back to him saying "Getting noticed is all about scoring great goals" and thought "You selfish bastard ..."
