I don't think we have a best 11. There aren't more than a couple of players in the squad

that stand out in their positions - for me Tettey as DM or sweeper, and Naismith just behind the CF. They're not great in football Top Trumps, but the rest are worse, compromised by lack of technique, lack of speed, lack of stamina, lack of footballing nous, or lack of consistency. To compensate, he's sometimes trying to juggle those resources, and it's not really working. I pity AN because he largely inherited the squad, but I'm not sure he's done enough to improve that with his own signings.
