He should be well motivated to keep his levels up after a spell on the bench, and in my opinion, Ruddy in good form commands the defence better than Rudd does.
It was a fair decision to give Rudd a go, but he has conceded a buttload of goals. Until yesterday, most of them weren't mainly down to him, but he should have done better on both goals yesterday.
Ruddy has a higher top level than Rudd, and I think the defence will improve with Ruddy behind them.
