depends on your goal

presumably we didn't appoint an inexperienced manager thinking he'd be a top 20 manager within a season, and we had a long term goal in mind.

Personally I think its too late to change anything this season, we're gone now, so for me its whether we think he's worth keeping long term*. Again presumably that was the Board's plan anyway...

(*I have doubts about whether its best to stick with the manager that took you down or not, but that's for another day)
