we're not getting worse

yesterday was a far better performance than against Bournemouth and Tottenham.

We were competitive yesterday and were the better team for most of the first half. It was basically an even game where key moments went against us.

Villa really aren't a bad side at the moment. Their form has been good in recent weeks, particularly at home, and they've been playing well. Four unbeaten now at home, conceding just two goals in that time. We were never going to play them off the park, so an even game was about the best we could hope for. We got that, but their players came out on top in the big moments.
