well, who have spent mega money on the same calibre of player that cost rather less than mega money pre-TV deal.

European clubs are salivating at how much English clubs are going to be able to spend. It's going to be like throwing a novice tourist into a Cairo bazaar.

I remain to be convinced that English clubs are going to be buying materially better players en masse. There are going to be an awful lot of RvW type players being bought at inflated prices.

But that said I agree with you generally, and especially your last point but with one caveat. The clubs that will do well will be those with minted owners and/or those with good scouting networks.

So we're f**ked both ways.
