There is nothing "clueless" about our board not getting rid at this point

A manager can't go from tremendous to out of his depth in the space of a month.

It wouldn't be outrageous to sack him, no - depending entirely on who we replaced him with. It also depends on whether the board sees Alex as a man for the long haul, including getting us straight back out of the Championship if necessary, or not.

Open and shut case? It's the very opposite. And the board are not "clueless" if they happen not to agree with you.
