But it's not outrageous he's under pressure now. It's healthy and necessary.

Look at what we spent. What will our financial position be if we go down? This isn't supposed to be happening - and the stakes are so high that if he can't motivate them and has run out of ideas, it wouldn't be at all outrageous if we made a change.

Do I sympathise with him? Yes, absolutely, especially after what happened in August. But we've been a shambles for a month now. We look unrecognisable. And I keep going back to the point about fitness. If our training regimes aren't up to scratch and have left our players less able to handle a whole season, he's culpable, and we're f**ked.

Remember McNally's position 2 years ago. As long as we're not in the bottom 3, we won't make a change. But we're heading for the bottom 3 now - so what's different about this season?
