I really don't get this 'once in a lifetime opportunity' line that gets repeated again and again...
The money has gone up before. It will go up again (unless the bubble bursts). Most of it won't touch the sides as it flows through to more obscene wages and agent fees.
Everyone will get more money. So I just don't understand why everyone thinks it will give us an advantage over everyone else?
We will still be a small fish in a big pond. The only club in the Prem at the moment without some kind of wealthy backer. We are doing really well just to compete. But I find the idea that the Sky money will someone take us to another level baffling.
