Love Alex Neil but he is struggling this year ain't he?

Seems like most games he makes two or 3 errors that combine to make getting a result a bit harder than necessary. The ones that got to me today were Howson playing on the right and not taking Tettey off when the game was pretty much gone leading to his tenth yellow.
I'm plenty ok with the guy but don't necessarily think he's got the most from the talent this year.
