We're in huge trouble

'Course I didn't expect us to take anything tonight - but we're going to need bonus points/wins from somewhere, we have no balance about us at all, and we're so off the pace, it's terrifying.

Yes, Spurs are excellent. Over the years, even good Norwich sides have made sides like Spurs look excellent because we're generally an open team ourselves. Think Norwich 2-6 Forest '91; Norwich 1-3 United '93; or any number of Norwich 0-2 Spurs results (under Lambert, or under Walker in the FA Cup in particular).

Now sure, the illness affecting the squad must be playing its part. I'm trying desperately to give us the benefit of the doubt. But we've signed footballing defenders, not solid defenders; Rudd has no authority over the backline at all (depending on him is an out-and-out Andy Marshall-style blunder)... and again, go back to those stats SCC's been posting about how much less running we do during games than any other side in the division.

A combination of the illness and Spurs being so good has exacerbated things - but we look odds-on for the drop right now. We have to go back to keeping it tight - but do we have the personnel to do that?
