He's not that long turned 19, got given the #10 in the summer as an 18 year old and he's our best player which says it all really. Unfortunately he's actually missed a large chunk of this season through injury (late August to mid December) or we'd probably be top.
We all knew that we were on limited time watching him from the moment he broke into the match day squad, was just hoping we'd get another season out of him before the vultures pounced. Certainly hoped for more than two dozen appearances and then a move to Norwich (especially when the likes of Spurs and Liverpool were hovering), we've become so tinpot these days.
His best position is in the hole behind the front man but he can also play at CM. Physically he's not much to look at (looked about 12 when he first made the bench) but he's got quick feet and is very agile though not particularly pacey. Is an extremely confident players who's willing to try all sorts of neat little touches and flicks, always wants the ball and he'll look to come deep and receive if he's not getting many touches, loves to turn and run at players before playing a through ball or trying to curl into into the top corner.
Definitely got the potential to be an England player imo. A decent comparison would probably be Ross Barkley when he first broke into the Everton side.
