Stoke at home won 6-0, with Stanley Matthews playing and they were top of the league. We played with a reserve striker Jim Oliver who scored a hatrick. Our next result was an FA cup game at home against Newcastle where we won 5-0....Our next match away against Sunderland we lost 7-1. Happy days!
