Because I have a high pain tolerance borne of supporting NCFC for many years

I have just rewatched yesterday's game. There were so many critical errors from both sides it would be unfair to pick on any individual. Martin's was the standout but Moreno's penalty wasn't far off. It's the second freak game we've played this season.

Lee Mason though: how did he let Moreno off a booking through number of fouls, let alone the penalty and the late tackle? Milner seems to be the new Carragher, he can get away with anything: we should have had a penalty in the first half for his foul on Naismith (and arguably they might have had one as well, though it was nowhere near as clear). If I remember correctly he should have been sent off in our game at Anfield as well. I'm not saying he was to blame for the result, but it can't be easy playing a game if you don't trust the ref.

One thing that stood out for me was how little Dorrans was involved and to not quite the same extent you could say the same for Howson. When Tettey plays, he's on the ball frequently, O'Neil as well. You couldn't say that yesterday for Dorrans, or Howson really. Wes and Redmond, on the other hand, seemed to be in play a lot more. As far as I could see anyway; no doubt there are OPTA stats somewhere disproving this. Maybe their contributions were just better or more eye-catching.
