He would have improved yesterday's midfield

In the absence of a new midfielder, he's the only player we've got that plays the role he does.

I can't see anyone saying he's the saviour, I can see plenty saying he would have improved our midfield yesterday.

I got blasted for suggesting Ben Watson was a good signing for Watford last season, someone like him would do a good job for us right now.
