Our chances of staying up are hardly changed if at all after yesterday.
1) AN as a manager is excellent on the people management side, he will get the players up without a problem
2) we didn't expect much out of Liverpool anyway
3) this brings forward a defensive revamp which was badly needed
4) actually we have some players consistently performing well in the premier league. Mbok, naismith, tettey, wes, rudd.
5) ruddy and Martin have cost us a lot of points. They were not good enough for the champs by the end of last season and were picked on reputation this season. I suspect AN won't make that mistake again
6) our mistake was in not buying 2 defenders last summer, doubt emergency signings now will make us impenetrable at the back, but I think we will be ok with what we have. Bennett should play with klose I reckon, and we will be better. Yesterday changes nowt we didn't already know really.
7) we have ball players throughout the team now and it shows, we score and play some terrific stuff.
8) that is all
