I've said it before and I'll say it again

Wes's passing is really mediocre.

Wes's two huge skills are
1) finding space and making himself available for a pass
2) controlling the ball when it arrives at him

Everything after that isn't really up to much. His shooting is cover your eyes awful and his passing is average - for every quality pass he'll play a really terrible one.

But Wes is great at not letting the terrible balls get to him. He'll keep looking for the ball and won't hide. And eventually by the law of averages he'll hit a key pass.

He's been way short of his best recently though and hasn't been as influential as he is at his best. I'd be tempted to give him a but of a rest.
