Same defenders same problems....

Much the same defence was poor when last relegated from the Prem. Hoots played negative tactics to try to cover the cracks.

Hoots should have signed better defenders.

Adams came along. Some players became complacent. The defence was still making lots of stupid errors in the Championship but was often getting away with it because Championship teams are far less clinical. Bassong was sent out on-loan.

Adams should have signed better defenders.

AN came along and gave them a shake-up out of their comfort zone but some have been given new contracts and seem to get complacent at times.

AN should have signed better defenders during the summer.

I wonder if AN will be the latest NC managerial victim as a result of being too loyal to certain defenders and a failure to sign better ones.
