and in 1086 had:

Total population: 65 households : 23 villagers, 38 smallholders, 4 freemen.

Livestock in 1086: 3 cobs, 2 cattle, 20 pigs, 120 sheep, 15 beehives.

Some of the descendants of those cattle still live there. They were the Acle Bovine Adam and Eve.
