Goals aren't the problem, defending is.

There's six teams that we've scored the same or more goals than so far this season. Three of them are below us (swans, villa & Newcastle - who don't forget scored 6 of their 24 goals, or 25%, against us in one game.) We've scored the same number of goals as Stoke, who are 7th, and one more than Palace, who are 8th.

Our problem is defense. Keeping goals out. We've conceded 38 goals, and only three teams have let in as many or more than that. Not coincidentally those three teams are all in the relegation spots.

Do I want us to sign a striker? Of course. That's what fans want. But right now I'd be over the moon with a brand spanking new back four (with only Brady keeping a starting role, further up the pitch) - this is how we'll stay up.
