However, one thing I disagreed with quite strongly

Misplacing a pass is a mistake, not tracking a run is a mistake, letting the striker get in front of you at a corner is a mistake. These are all normal, forgivable human errors. GON did something completely off the scale, it was just utter crass stupidity. Not normal and much harder to forgive. I think we were looking good for a point at least at Stoke at 11 v 11 and it is entirely possible that the no show at Muff was attributable to heavy legs. So while I won't be calling GON a c*nt myself, because it's rude, I entirely see why others would.
