All that matters right now is a proven player improving our team to keep us up this season and qualify for next season's cash bonanza.
I agree, Afobe sounds more exciting, may greatly improve, and may be worth ?25M by next season. But alternatively he may not be much good long term. Naismith has more reliable experience, is unlikely to improve or increase his value, but I guess if he helps keep us up that's really all that matters.
A proper planned investment in the squad would take place in the summer (one would hope).
