Hats off then mate. My partner's mum is in a care home and

I have nothing but admiration for the staff. It's f**king appalling how little the staff are paid and that's considering her fees are over ?700/w.
Have to admit it's something I could never have done.
Mind you, Jools was a full time unpaid carer for her mum and dad till her dad died last year. Bit of mixed feeling for me - my mum and dad both died before they had to go into care, although I had to nurse my mum through terminal lung cancer in her own home. Still, it wasn't for long and their passing allowed me to live the life I do now.
Hope you can stick with it mate, our society really needs the likes of you
