What do you do work wise?

My girlfriend is a care worker and earns similar. Zero hour contract, meaning she takes whatever hours are available, usually meaning working too much (50-60 hours per week) to guarantee she doesn't lose calls. 12 hour days travelling from one place to another because obviously you don't work straight shifts in a job like that.

Pretty sad that work like that is valued less than serving coffee. That's capitalism for you though.
