Just back from the game

Thought we mostly played pretty well in general. Some good play for decent spells but the team let down by that utter f**king t**t getting the most needless and unprofessional red card I've ever seen. At that point we were well in the game, probably edging it in terms of possession and although Stoke looked threatening on quick breaks when we lost possession three points was by no means out of the question. For him to do that in what was a very important game for us in the context of the season it s complete disgrace. I don't want to see him starting for us again because you can't play players you can't trust to stay on the pitch.

Other than that Vadis again looked a player but showed he still needs work on the defensive side of his game. Should have won the tackle for their first and struggles to get back at times at the moment but plenty of encouragement with his play going forward.

Martin looked woefully off the pace and I think knows the writing is on the wall once Pinto gets fit. Really noticeable for me tonight how much worse he looked technically than most players on the pitch.

I get why he made the subs he did and what he was trying to do but don't think they really workers I thought we were having a good spell just before the double substitution and the change saw us lose our way s bit as they started to get behind us down the flanks.

Mbokani was terrific.

All in all I'm not too despondent as we showed plenty of fight and some quality as well. I think if it stayed 11 v 11 we would have got something. Still f**king livid at O'Neil.
