hospitals don't tend to do the whole post-natal thing though

Wanting to stay near friends/family would be a big concern in his shoes.

Mind you, if we were offering enough in salary I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem. All comes down to wages.

Also, if he is expecting a new born then he may not be what we need right now anyway. His focus will be on the new kid, will be exceptionally tired etc etc.
