Strictly it's ballerino (since ballerina is Italian) but no-one uses that, "danseur" is

There are just so many words which denominate gender, it's BOLLOCKS to moan about actress

Host/hostess
Prince/princess
Master/mistress
Heir/heiress
Hero/heroine
Groom/bride
Bachelor/spinster

Calling women who act "actors" really gets on my nerves!
