Surely if they have learnt anything at all, just a teeny weeny little bit, from the summer then if Naismith is our main target you have him lined up ahead of January and you make sure you know if he wants to come?
If that does not happen and we end up with Bamford then for me it will be more evidence that someone st the club is failing badly when it comes to transfer strategy.
Don't get me wrong Bamford is a reasonable player (although don't see how he fits our formation really) and may do ok and I'm not that set on Naismith but it's more the way we seem to be going about things. Equally shambolic will be if we've sold Grabban without yet having a replacement sealed and also allowing him to play against us in Saturday's match. Even if a player is a bit hit and miss you just know how that's going to end on Saturday!
