It's pretty common sense, turning on your own players and manager never solves anything, except sackings and start again (which usually takes a while to achieve).

We are extremely fortunate to have Alex Neil at the helm right now. I can see him taking us far the longer he's able to put his own stamp onto the club. Obviously dependent on getting good quality signings in, which I think doesn't include spunking way too much money on punts like Afobe as Bournemouth have just done.

We are a very well run club now after the bleak years of almost going bust. I am sure we will spend big again when we feel it's worth it. We got stung with Ricky, but that happens sometimes. I don't think the board are against dishing out cash, but only when everyone, especially Neil thinks they will bring to the team what we need

Someone said Lafferty is on big wages. Perhaps Neil doesn't want anyone getting above their station until they've proven they're worth it. Matt Jarvis for example looks motivated and a class act when he's on his game. Paying higher wages isn't always the answer

Just look at QPR in recent years....
