I'm not going to moan.

I did the last time we got knocked out of this competition - but not now. Not at home to the most gifted side in England; one of the 5 or 6 most gifted in Europe.

Of course our FA Cup record's a scandal - but having won something at Wembley in May, it doesn't hurt or anger me like it did a year ago. Meanwhile, we'll only be able to attack this competition one day when we're established in this league, looking up not down, and have a seriously strong squad.

We're not in that place right now. We won't be for at least another 2-3 years. Because of that, it makes sense for the manager to experiment a tad, treat any kind of positive result today as a bonus, and keep learning, as he does so so well.

We all know what the priority is. Staying in the Prem is much, much, much more important than anything else.
