There are a select group of managers where you will never know if they

are truly any good because they just walk into the big jobs and have all the resources at their disposal. yes they are clearly not "bad" managers because it has been shown that even at big clubs managers can fail but as observed below they have never had to try and get a side promoted or even keep a side up with modest resources when facing bigger, wealthier clubs every week. In many cases their answer to any problem is just to buy another player for multi millions.
