... is that his style of play needs a lot of money for it to work. It relies on purchasing quick and (above all) very skilful players, who really don't come cheap. There aren't too many British players who fit that bill, either, so we'd need a decent foreign scouting system, which we don't seem to have right now.
I don't think Keegan would be able to mould the squad we have now into a side that fits his conception of how teams should play (which is a conception I like a lot). Especially seeing as the only player we have who does fit in with it - Huckerby - fell out with Keegan at Man City.
I'd like to see us go abroad for a new manager, but it'll never happen.
