Ill prepared and didn't have a plan B (words to that effect) one of the reasons players didn't sign is because there were out of our league to start with playing for high calibre clubs.

We were fighting to sign dwight Gayle on deadline day if we'd wanted him he was available most of the summer.

Sounds like we are much better prepared this time round which is hugely encouraging as we have put ourselves in a position where all to play for
