Deficit only coming down now because Tories U-turned and abandoned austerity

To double the national debt in 3 years was absolutely disgraceful. And the 'deficit we were running' was short term, a result of a global crash, and in Q2 2010, the economy grew more quickly than at any point since 2001. Then the Tories plunged us back into recession again,
