Yes, I think it is.

Green, Ashton, Hux, Francis (cough, spit), Bentley (cough, spit) all real quality. About even (ie. both squads awful) in central defence. Our central midfield then had more goals; now it's more solid. I will never understand why we didn't use Safri more that season: he was also quality.

Back then though, we had a good few players who arrived for the Premier League season but whose attitudes stank. This squad's totally different. A lot of that goes back to the manager I think.
