Where has Wes said it?

As for Neil, who knows but he's left Wes out away from home regularly (sometimes when there have not been two games in quick succession) and it's not worked ever. Maybe he does think he needs to save him to a certain degree but he also clearly does it for tactical reasons. This two games in a week business is a convenient excuse.
