Now that we have kids, the wife and I don't buy Xmas presents for each other and instead

we will try and give to a worthwhile charity. However, this year there is no particular charity which stands out above the rest, and I am running out of time to make my donation before Christmas Day. Could any Wrathers therefore suggest any worthwhile charities, perhaps that have helped you or family / friends over the past 12 months, that I may be able to give to?
